Spring has arrived and it came with the sun, the good weather and the summer songs that you will listen to during the next months. Two of them are the tracks of Col Lawton’s debut ep on Cyanide. This New Castle based artist is one of the most interesting producers of the current English house scene, and his releases on labels like Moiss, Delve Deeper or Nervous are proof of his quality.
Got 2 Be Free is a sweet deep house track with hot rhodes chords, ethereal pads and a sensual female voice that will stay in your memory forever. Definitely, this is the perfect track for any proper terrace or beach party. On the other hand, Accabou follows the same deep feelings of “Got 2 Be Free”, but adding a percussive base, flute melodies and Brazilian vocals. Who wants a mojito?
